Environmental System Engineer

Description

• Provide technical analysis and manage tasks for public and private sector environmental projects.
• Determine system performance using operational data.
• Select and design remedial systems and equipment.
• Prepare and review technical reports and coordinate client/regulatory correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with local, national, and global technical and client teams.
• Coordinate field events, oversee construction, conduct inspections and system testing.
• Participate in face‑to‑face meetings with clients, technical staff, and stakeholders.

Requirements

We are seeking an Engineer with experience in operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OMM) of environmental remedial systems to join our Pennsylvania team. The role blends office and field work, with up to 25 % of time spent on site handling engineering tasks related to soil, sediment, groundwater, or surface water impacted by hazardous substances. The engineer will collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts across diverse remedial projects and may assist with project management responsibilities.

• Hold an undergraduate degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Possess at least three years of OMM engineering experience (preferred).
• Maintain current 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
