Senior Contracts Administrator

Description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager providing commercial and contractual support while helping drive accuracy and efficiency across the project delivery team. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure on dynamic projects across the Northern Territory and have a tangible impact on project outcomes.

• Play an integral role in procurement, claims, forecasting and reporting on project outcomes
• Manage the commercial and administrative functions of the project
• Implement and maintain systems and procedures for continuous improvement
• Maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders

• Proven track record of successfully supporting project delivery and improving operational efficiency
• Relevant qualifications such as construction management, Business, Law or related degree
• Strong understanding of project management and best practice
• Strong commitment to safety and well-being.
• Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and guide team members to develop their skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of contract tasks including, financial and technical
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex contractual and financial processes with attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry within a Contract Administration role
• Experience with project management software and financial reporting tools
