Tasks

-Assign tasks, set performance goals and provide regular feedback and training opportunities. -Build strong relationships with internal and external partners -Assist with succession planning -Management of own deadlines and corporate deadlines -Ensure monthly reporting and analytics deadlines are met -Ensuring compliance with all internal control procedures -Assist in the development of financial forecasts -Monitor and manage cash flow, providing regular updates on its status and projections -Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections -Continued review and implementation of internal processes and procedures as needed. -Review GL analysis for validity and ensure proper authorization of Journal Entries -Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, laws, and internal policies -Monitor forecast performance and provide variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met -Manages the payment approvals and authorizations -Supervise and mentor accounting and controlling staff -Review and approve invoices, reconciliations and accounts adjustments -Management of all related insurance polices, including global group policies -Prepare relevant documentation and manage all local tax filings -Oversee the preparation of the Financial Statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS -Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings -Support and provide assistance to the FP&A team for analysis as required -Follow the Hexagon Financial policies on reporting, in OneStream, including Inter Company Transactions (ICO)

What You Bring

-Skills in training and onboarding staff during transitions Adaptable to fluid environment, and management of tight deadlines -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills -Tertiary Qualifications – bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA designation is highly preferred) -Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP / Oracle / Syteline / OneStream etc.) -Ability to travel domestically and internationally occasionally -High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities -Ability to lead and motivate high performing team -At least 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role -Familiarity with cost accounting, inventory management, or revenue recognition standards relevant to the sector -Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools -Compliance with all company policies -Ability to foster a positive team culture and build strong relationships across departments -Ability to analyze complex financial data
