The Handover Specialist manages the final transfer of completed properties from RSG to buyers, ensuring quality, handling all documentation, and coordinating legal, finance, and maintenance teams. This role conducts inspections, resolves snags, and delivers a smooth, professional client experience while building lasting relationships and upholding high service standards.
Key accountabilities include developing constructive customer relationships, interacting courteously via phone, email, letter, and face‑to‑face, and investigating and resolving client complaints and queries. The specialist also oversees the entire handover process from pre‑handover checks to final sign‑off.
Core responsibilities involve acting as the main client liaison, keeping clients informed, addressing queries and complaints, conducting pre‑handover inspections to ensure units meet quality standards, and following up on defects. The role manages handover documentation, collects signed approvals, and ensures all legal and technical paperwork is complete and filed, while coordinating with sales, legal, finance, and maintenance teams for timely completion.
The specialist produces handover progress reports, business reviews, and snag status reports, maintains accurate client records, contracts, and correspondence in the CRM system, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company document‑control policies. All relevant records are uploaded and stored securely.
Leadership duties include providing guidance on complaint‑handling and escalation procedures, preparing statistics and dashboards for the Handover Manager, and supporting strategic reporting initiatives.
Communication and working relationships require close collaboration with the Handover Manager, Sales Operations, and the Director of Residential Sales Ops on milestones, potential issues, and problem resolution, as well as coordination with external parties such as authorities and banks when necessary.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, professional qualifications in civil, electrical, mechanical, or customer care, and at least three years of experience—two of which are in a management or controlling role within real‑estate or development. Candidates must have strong customer‑care delivery, dispute‑resolution abilities, and advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Aconex.
Personal attributes sought are a drive to consistently deliver exceptional customer service, outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to cultivate long‑lasting relationships, strong planning and organizational abilities, a high standard of personal presentation, and fluency in both Arabic and English. The position is based at the Red Sea Site near Umluj.
