What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and physical capacity test. -Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch -Able to walk, climb, and maintain balance on equipment, stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, rails and ballast in a safe manner -Requires occasional use of 30lb claw bar to remove spikes, requiring application of 50lbs of force -Able to perform physical strenuous work -Able to navigate into confined spaces if necessary -Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs -Qualified candidates will be required to travel. -Requires occasional use of 10lb sledge hammer to drive spikes, requiring application of 75lbs of force -Previous railroad track construction preferred. -Ability to operate power tools. -Ability to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
