As a Groundskeeper at Veritas Multifamily, you will be an integral member of the Maintenance team, working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor and office staff to deliver world‑class service to residents. This hands‑on role focuses on ensuring that all property functions operate smoothly each day, contributing to a welcoming living environment.
Your primary responsibilities include maintaining the property’s landscape and exterior appearance, which involves cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways, as well as caring for flowerbeds, plants, and grass. You will also handle snow removal, perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance, address resident maintenance concerns promptly, and support other maintenance projects as needed while adhering to uniform and safety standards.
The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to follow directions in both English and Spanish, and a professional, courteous demeanor. You must be willing to work evenings or weekends on call for emergencies, be punctual, follow company policies, and practice necessary safety protocols.
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical education is required. The role operates in a professional office setting, using standard equipment such as computers and phones, and involves regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, ladders, or step stools, and lifting up to 50 lb repeatedly. Compensation ranges from $15.30 to $18.00 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement plans, and other insurance programs.
