The Construction Representative II will monitor transportation, civil and municipal infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications. Daily duties include documenting field inspections, material sampling, testing and quantity measurements, as well as assisting with pre‑construction meetings, progress updates, conflict resolution and preparation of change orders. The role also requires effective communication with clients, contractors and SEH team members and may involve supporting proposal development, budgeting and constructability reviews.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED and prior experience in the construction field, as well as the ability to work in varying weather conditions, navigate rough terrain, and travel for meetings and site visits. Overtime availability and a clean driving record that meets SEH’s Driving Program are required. Preferred qualifications include DOT technical certifications (or the ability to obtain them within six months), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation or BlueBeam.
