- Ensure Supervisors and personnel have the appropriate technical competence to work safely by the identification and provision of formal training needs.
- Ensure Robust Management of the Engineering Team.

- Report all issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via the MPM Learning & Development.
- Manage and optimise building management systems, energy management systems, and other critical infrastructure.
- Investigation of accidents and incidents and production of statistical information in relation to QHSE performance.
- Ensure operatives of the company are aware of their legal and company responsibilities.
- Work with the QHSE manager to develop and implement QHSE strategies to meet divisional and group objectives.
- Collaborate with sustainability teams to implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to facilities services and equipment.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE in accordance with training received.
- Provide assurance through audit.
- Assist Contract Manager and Supervisors with the identification and development of practical and effective safe working practices.
- Carry out assessments that are outside the competence of Operational Team i.e., Significant Risk, COSHH, DSE and other assessments.
- Follow Group company policies and procedures.
- Analyse and report on infrastructure performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and emergency response plans.

- BIFM (now IWFM) qualification or equivalent professional certification.
- Able to deliver training on a range of subjects to varying abilities.
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, Energy Management)
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Experience with smart building technologies and IoT applications in facilities management
- Experience in facilities management or maintenance related infrastructure roles.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards and certifications (e.g., BREEAM, ISO 14001)
- Knowledge of technologies in Infrastructure management and their practical applications
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Good management skills.
- Flexible approach to work patterns.
- Proven track record of successfully leading facilities management projects.
- Diplomatic and personable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
