Integrate sustainable design principles, including stormwater management and green infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and educational facility regulations.
Prepare civil engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Support construction administration and respond to RFIs and field issues during school construction.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing educational facilities.
Work in coordination with architects and educational planners to design site layouts, site grading, vehicular access and parking, athletic fields, and other design work.
Use CAD and BIM tools to produce and revise engineering documentation.

Ability to travel for project requirements, as needed.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with public sector clients.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited school is required. Professional Engineer (PE) license or master’s degree is preferred.
Strong knowledge of building codes, site development, and infrastructure systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on educational or institutional projects.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
