Project Manager III - Senior (Generation)

Description

• Working with leadership to plan future year(s) works.
• Reviewing proposals
• Assisting the Power BI Reporting effort
• Assisting in the overall development of budget estimates
• Interfacing / Managing with material vendors and service subcontractors.
• Identifying and Tracking Change to Projects
• Training others to support the tools being used by the project.
• Developing Scope of Work & Monitoring Creep
• Communicating with all levels of Project Stakeholders
• Identifying and documenting key project processes
• Working with other Utility Operations groups Up and Downstream of the construction team

Requirements

• Experience planning the execution portion of Electric Generation Projects including utility/developer/customer project planning and coordination, site development, mechanical and piping design process and construction, Balance of Plant (BOP) design process and construction, and testing and commissioning
• Experience and understanding of Electrical Transmission and Substation Projects
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Tools including but not limited to: Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Project
• Must be able to travel for extended periods in a vehicle, airplane or other transportation means.

• Experience working with multiple contractors to coordinate work and train them on reporting requirements
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, utility experience a plus

• Ability to travel 25% of the week.
• Experience with the RFP, bidding and award process
• Extended periods of sitting and working on computer screens
• Hybrid working environment: Remote with ability to travel to client office and project sites as needed.
