Business Systems Analyst Student

Description

In this role you will support enterprise business development, marketing, and communications by providing user assistance, creating documentation, delivering web‑based training, gathering requirements, testing systems, and communicating with stakeholders.

• Provide user support for enterprise business development, marketing, and communications.
• Respond to service requests, troubleshoot incidents, and investigate problems.
• Create or update process, training, and system documentation.
• Deliver web‑based training to end users.
• Document requirements for new systems or enhancements.
• Develop and maintain use cases for requirements analysis, functional design, user acceptance testing, and training.
• Participate in pilots and system rollouts.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate subject matter experts for requirements refinement and user acceptance testing.
• Perform system testing and analyze system and data usage.
• Liaise with business, technology, and support teams to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Support new and ongoing department initiatives.

Requirements

We are seeking Business Systems Analyst Students for our North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta, for a 4‑8 month internship starting in May 2026. The role offers challenging work assignments in a supportive environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred experience includes creating Power BI dashboards, basic SQL knowledge, construction, support, data analysis, training, or technical writing. Students studying business systems analysis, information management, IT, computing science or related fields are encouraged to apply.

• Experience creating dashboards in Power BI (preferred).
• Basic understanding of SQL (preferred).
• Construction, support, data analysis, training, or technical writing experience (preferred).
