Apply electrical engineering software (SKM, ETAP, etc.) for modeling and analysis.
Develop specifications for procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.
Partner with clients in Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Distributed Power to deliver innovative solutions.
Interface with electrical utility providers to design service interconnects.
Play a leadership role in growing our Power Engineering market.
Play a key role in strengthening client relationships by serving as a trusted technical partner.
Manage project scope changes, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
Frequently interact with clients, vendors, and contractors to build confidence in LSC’s technical solutions.
Mentor the next generation of electrical engineers.
Work with project teams to create design documents and drawings, including power and controls drawings, reports, calculations, and associated documentation.
Provide leadership and mentorship to our electrical and power engineering team.

10+ years
Experience with high, medium, and low voltage power systems, protective relay schemes, switchgear, MCCs, drives, and power distribution equipment is desired.
Industrial electrical control system and/or power system design experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of electrical area classification (hazardous areas).
Experience with design of control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and network architectures preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Familiarity with codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, API, AGA).
Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to mentor and learn.
Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize workload for yourself and others.
Substation design experience a plus.
10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Ability to travel (approx. 10%) for field information gathering and client meetings.
Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or other electrical analysis software.
Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
Direct experience with industrial facilities and energy industry projects (Oil & Gas, Renewables, Distributed Power).
Proven technical leadership with experience mentoring teams.
Ability to build client confidence through technical expertise and relationship-building.
