Construction Project Manager

Description

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, developing strategies and managing planning efforts to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders; provide clear updates on progress, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during early project phases to review drawings, support budgeting, and assist with value engineering.
• Monitor construction progress through site visits, meetings, schedule reviews, and budget tracking; proactively address issues to maintain performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies; promote a safe jobsite culture.
• Coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and timely execution of project tasks.
• Identify risks and potential challenges early, implementing corrective actions and working with design teams to resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, phasing strategies, procurement timelines, and resource allocation.
• Review and manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and invoices; ensure accurate tracking and adherence to financial targets.
• Manage all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, punch lists, and close-out packages.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction at turnover.

Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead projects from initial planning through final close-out. This key role requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to successfully oversee complex construction projects while ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

• Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficient with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar; strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving projects to successful completion under tight timelines.
• Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, preferably in commercial, industrial, or multifamily sectors.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling techniques, building codes, and contract administration.
