Ability to do field surveys, excavations including in regional areas.

A tertiary qualifications in archaeology coupled with relevant experience in the archaeology industry
A proficient understanding of and ability to apply statutory heritage legislation, principles and the Heritage Act 1977, National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974(NPW Act) and the National Parks and Wildlife Regulations 2009 (NPW Regulations 2009); to resolve and advise on projects
Demonstrating high level research, interpretation, report writing and communication skills
An ability to undertake archaeology research utilising multiple sources and methodologies to present accurate preliminary assessment of findings
