Ensure proper operation and reporting for environmental monitoring systems, including CEMS, COMS, and DAS.
Partner with operations leadership to implement pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives.
Lead and mentor environmental team members, providing coaching and professional development.
Monitor regulatory changes and develop strategies to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental requirements.
Represent the company with regulatory agencies, local governments, community groups, and legal counsel on environmental matters.
Work across both aggregates and cement divisions in a diverse operational environment
Provide technical guidance and training to facility personnel on environmental compliance topics.
Oversee environmental compliance programs for multiple cement and aggregate manufacturing plants, quarries, and related operations.
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; develop and track corrective actions.
Manage permitting processes, inspections, and reporting for air, water, waste, and hazardous materials.

Deep understanding of environmental regulations including NSR, NSPS, Title V, NESHAP, RCRA, SDWA, CWA, NPDES, EPCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, ESA, and Wetlands/WOTUS.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience managing environmental monitoring and data acquisition systems (CEMS, COMS, DAS).
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.
Strong communication skills for engaging with regulators, internal leadership, and community stakeholders.
Minimum 10 years of environmental compliance experience in heavy industry; cement manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Proven leadership skills, including team development and performance management.
