Ensures integration and alignment of functional unit planning with enterprise strategy (technology, investment planning, regulatory, etc.)
Monitors emerging trends and evolving technology, evaluating and understanding the implications for inclusion in corporate strategies.
Liaises as necessary with state and federal regulatory agencies on NWA related matters.
Leads or provides oversight of specific projects in the enterprise NWA portfolio.
Supports the establishment and formation of appropriate structure and resources in support of individual NWA related projects.
Produces briefings and status reports on a regular basis for local and global Iberdrola executives and, as necessary, regulatory agencies and other key stakeholders.
Supports NWA strategy for regulatory rate proceedings.
Develops and executes strategies to garner internal and external stakeholder support.
Supports the development and ongoing review of NWA process and plan development.
Supports development and execution of DER related business cases.
Oversees NWA project and portfolio performance tracking progress to ensure goals, schedules, budgets, and benefits are met.
Drives identification and prioritization of opportunities and use case assessment.
Performs analysis, business case preparation and testimony in support of regulatory matters, including rate case proceedings in Maine and New York.
Ensures capture and ongoing assessment of benefits realization.

Experienced in the electric utility industry and knowledge of business operations.
Experience leading implementation of complex initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
Possess the savvy to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and line managers.
Adept at putting together business cases related to product and service offerings.
Proven track record of achieving results in high pressure and high profile assignments.
Proven ability to work within a matrix environment, including geographically dispersed teams.
Direct experience in data processing and modeling, with demonstrated understanding of power systems analysis.
Bachelor’s degree required, minimum 7 years relevant experience.
Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and customer interaction.
Understanding of the Distributed Energy Resource planning, performance measurement and verification, and system impact.
Must be an articulate communicator and able to explain the company's future utility vision and strategy both within and outside the company.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering and/or Distributed Energy Resource planning, implementation, and operations.
Direct experience in business case development and benefits capture.
Customer Centric (internal and/or external)
Must be able to support and drive implementation of the agreed upon strategies.
Demonstrated experience in the development, communication and execution of strategy.
