Overview

Assist customers, pick/ship orders, and manage warehouse tasks.

Tasks

-Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks. -Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch/warehouse, or as they call. -Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch. -Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides. -Pick orders for immediate pick-up. -Serve them immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage. -Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner. -Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery. -Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork.

What You Bring

-Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences. -Completed High School certificate a must. Post-secondary education an asset. -High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes. -Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment. -Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate. -Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
