- Reviews historical pricing, customer purchase history, and current cost data to ensure quote accuracy and profitability.
- Interfaces professionally with customers, sales reps, and distributors to clarify quote requirements and timelines.
- Collaborates with internal departments (e.g., sales, engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and management) to gather required data and confirm feasibility of custom or non-standard products and services.
- Maintains organized records of all quotations, including revisions and supporting documentation, to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Prepares and submits detailed quotations (foreign and domestic) based on information provided by customers, distributors, or sales representatives.
- Coordinates with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain up-to-date pricing or lead time data for inclusion in quotations.
- Analyzes customer specifications, previous quotes, and market trends to develop competitive and profitable pricing.
- Participates in ongoing product and industry training to stay current with Airtech offerings and market conditions.
- Supports occasional purchasing activities as backup or in coordination with the procurement team (minimal involvement).
- Tracks and follows up on submitted quotations, assisting sales and customer service teams with updates or clarifications as needed.

- Strong understanding of RFQs, cost analysis, and pricing strategies
- High School Diploma with equivalent work experience. BS or BA degree with some college level courses in business preferred.
- 1-3+ years of quoting or purchasing experience preferred in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/automotive).
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (or) 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Mon. - Fri. (100% On-Site).
