Civil Engineer

Description

The role provides support to the assistant and project engineer for site delivery, understanding the scope of work and the quality control activities required to ensure compliant works. It is responsible for Mace validation checks carried out in conjunction with the trade contractor’s specific checks, and for understanding and assisting with Mace temporary works and safety procedures.

• Establish and maintain secondary control on the project.
• Provide dimensional control for main contractor works.
• Assist with inspections for Mace verification.
• Collate quality records.
• Review design information against construction work.
• Maintain a personal site diary of activities.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Guide and coach junior team members.
• Support net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing emissions.

Requirements
