Support Primary Engineering in developing common engineering solutions and safe working practices throughout the substation lifecycle.
Communicate business opportunities and implement improvements in tools, designs, and processes.
Provide technical support to Primary Engineers and attend HAZID reviews, site visits, and technical meetings with clients.
Assist in the professional development of proposals staff and coordinate with other departments on tenders
Compile Bills of Quantities and conduct technical evaluations of supplier quotations.
Ensure production of Primary Engineering drawings and documents meets design specifications, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

Proficient in the latest Transmission and Distribution standards and Health and Safety regulations relevant to High Voltage Substation design.
HNC/Degree qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with extensive knowledge of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution industry.
Knowledgeable in sustainability, continuous improvement processes, and commercial/contractual issues, with experience in a multi-cultural environment.
Experienced line manager, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members and trainees.
Flexible in design solutions with strong decision-making skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information clearly and managing client relationships effectively.
