  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Repair and/or replace any subsystem associated with heavy, medium, and/or light duty SAM coaches and automotive equipment
  • Work with other maintenance workers, drivers, and transportation supervisors
  • Direct highly varied and complex operations related to vehicle and equipment service

  • Possess knowledge of the design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of systems and subsystems of SAM coaches and related shop equipment
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical
  • Able to work on their feet eight hours per day, lift 100 pounds, and carry parts, equipment, and supplies
  • Able to apply in person at the Sioux Area Metro office
  • Pass a drug screening and background check: no felonies, clean MVR, no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions, and no more than 2 speeding tickets
  • Possess excellent manual dexterity
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, including trade or vocational school. Additional training at manufacturer’s schools, courses, or seminars is a plus.
  • Able to obtain a CDL permit
  • Hold a valid SD driver’s license

  • Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Salary Range: $31.52 - $34.15 / per hour, depending on experience.
