Partner with VHB’s integrated team to evaluate permit requirements and prepare applications for approvals.
Responsible for project task management including task financial performance
Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality solutions.
Participate in business development supporting proposal, scope and fee development.
Conduct comprehensive hydrologic and hydraulic studies using the latest modeling and design tools.
Develop detailed reports, design plans, construction documents, and specifications that address water resources needs for a wide array of projects.
Support the preparation of design plans & specifications, and preparing technical reports
Mentor and support team members, expanding their technical expertise and fostering collaborative learning.

AutoCAD and GIS experience strongly desired
Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (e.g. HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.) and design (e.g. stormwater control measures, culverts, flood control and resilience solutions, etc.)
An understanding of local, state, and federal technical requirements related to water resources projects.
EIT preferred
Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resource engineering or related discipline. Master’s degrees may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
3-5 years of water resource project experience required
