System Engineer

Description

• Identify and direct R&D path for continued improvement
• Machining, surface finishing, corrosion, measuring instruments, measuring methods, costing, estimating, value engineering, high pressure, pistons, actuators, seals, pumps, casting, and valves
• Developing electric motor control schema to provide exact torque and speed profiles as the driven pumps experience a range of conditions
• Direct MVP skidding, integration and testing
• Hazops review, process design, process simulation, process control, statistics, data analysis, manufacturing process control, and additive manufacturing
• Finalizing the device architecture for MVP prototype and then production version
• Exploring and understanding how the various sub-systems and components work together and in particular the eTect of each on system performance and cost
• Driving targeted research to evaluate system architecture options to maximize the cost/performance equation including interpreting test data and designing experiments
• Driving control system architecture and related safety system design and implementation
• Direct detailed engineering design of components including design for manufacturing

Intertec Engineering is seeking a Sr. Level Systems Engineer with experience in the Energy Industry. Our customer has operations in Bangalore, Singapore and the US. Location will open with a preference of location being Bangalore or Phoenix, Arizona.

The ideal candidate will have practical engineering experience in industrial and process plant environments and a flexible mind to explore and understand new technologies or disciplines.

• Basic chemical reactions with heat and mass balance
• Heat transfer o Internal energy and exergy
• Ideal gas law and real gas behavior
• Minimum 5 years in industrial commercial business
• Regulatory certifications such as ASME and ATEX
• Ability to work with multiple distributed team members at all levels and across time zones including communicating eTectively
• Diverse background and experience in Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical design, solid modeling, Finite Element Analysis, computational fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and heat exchangers
• Ability to understand and extrapolate research papers and other third party material
• Broad array of practical experience and fluidity to learn new areas rapidly
• Solid background in materials, DC motors, induction motors, VFD drives, traction motors, EV motors, composite materials, design for manufacturing, piping, fluid flow, hydraulics, process engineering, process plant, pressure vessel design, and safety system desig
