- Investigate and respond to EQ safe and ICAM incidents
- Conduct yard inspections, site audits, critical risk observations, safety observation conversations and safety moments.
- Maintain staff Training Matrix and manage training requirements for the team
- Undertake Plant and Equipment risk assessments and maintain plant and equipment registers
- Lead Investigation (ICAM)
- Review, liaise with relevant parties and prepare and /or make improvements to safety documentation as required
- Organise and facilitate weekly Crew meetings and monthly Toolbox meetings – prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up issues raised at these meetings
- Collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testing
- Review and provide comments on safety documentation associated with ETS Panel Contract inspections

- Comprehensive understanding on the development and implementation of policies and practices that comply with the Occupational Safety and Health act and regulations and any other relevant statutory obligations

- Good level of written, verbal and numeracy skills
- 8+ years OSH experience in the construction area preferably with road and bridge construction experience
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
