Contribute to the coordination and preparation of complete working drawing packages and construction documents in Revit, for pricing and building permit submission.
Validate that designs and deliverables confirm to company and client standards
Be involved in large scale, complex projects; receive support for furthering education/professional skills
Attend project team meetings
Assist with interpreting and implementing zoning By-laws along with other applicable regulations
Visit job sites to gather essential data for the design and implementation of projects when required.
Give input to proposals and designs issues, using problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges
Produce rendered visualization material, including plans and elevations, when required
Work collaboratively with team members
Requirements

Knowledge of AB local bylaws and building codes an asset
Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification
Experience working with Revit is essential
Between 5 - 12 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist in an Architecture or design firm, with at least 3 years coming from within Canada
Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and project teams
High attention to detail, accurate and precise worker
Experience working with commercial, institutional, public and mixed-use projects is preferable.
Good knowledge of construction principles and building envelope
