Downer's Road Services business operates over 50 depots, maintains more than 40,000 km of road, and is one of the largest non‑government owned road services businesses in Australia. The company is seeking an experienced Asphalt Crew Member to join a skilled surfacing crew at its Gillman, SA depot, a role suited to those who prioritize safety and quality.
Applicants should have proven experience in the asphalt industry, hold a current HR licence (HC preferred) and a General Construction Induction card, and preferably a Certificate II or III in Civil Construction or Civil Engineering. They must be competent operating asphalt equipment such as pavers, screed, rollers and skid steers, demonstrate a strong team player attitude, and be committed to a Zero Harm culture.
- Proven experience in the asphalt industry
- Current HR licence (minimum); HC licence preferred
- Current General Construction Induction card
- Certificate II/III in Civil Construction or Civil Engineering (advantageous)
- Ability to operate asphalt pavers, screed, rollers and skid steers
