Prepare technical memorandums, reports, and other project deliverables.
Define regional or local transportation planning problems or priorities.
Develop GIS and graphic maps conveying complex data through a visual lens. Conduct constraints mapping and maps/documents required by the project.
Support community engagement and public information efforts, meetings, and public hearings. Participate in public meetings or hearings to explain planning proposals, to gather feedback from those affected by projects, or to achieve consensus on project designs.
Manage projects.
Collaborate with engineers to research, analyze, or resolve complex transportation design issues.
Conduct maritime studies (seaport master plans, market assessments, feasibility studies, capital improvement programs, grant applications, etc.) for a wide range of clients including but not limited to seaports, state DOTs, and MARAD.
Support Lead business development efforts and client relationship activities
Conduct technical analysis involving data analytics, GIS, etc.
Develop high quality presentations and communicate complex transportation planning concepts in a simple and relatable manner.
Identify maritime infrastructure needs and cost estimates.
Collect, assimilate, analyze, and manage project-related data developed through research, interviews, surveys, and other methods.

Familiarity with ArcGIS, PIERS data, and graphics software
A minimum of 10 years' experience with transportation planning

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, Transportation Planning or relevant field
Understanding of transit planning principles
