The ESH Coordinator supports Layton Construction project teams to implement environmental, safety, and health standards at the site level.
- Monitor safety conditions and enforce OSHA and Layton standards.
- Assist the ESH Manager in accident and near‑miss investigations, collecting initial data.
- Track workers' compensation issues and provide timely, accurate reports.
- Conduct or support site‑specific safety orientations.
- Participate in pre‑construction meetings to highlight safety needs and issues.
- Aid project teams and case managers with injury management for cost‑effective medical care.
- Perform industrial hygiene surveys, including gas and noise detection and respiration fit tests.
- Support VP‑Field Operations and HR to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation laws.
- Deliver safety training to employees and subcontractor personnel at the site level.
- Attend monthly corporate Safety Committee meetings.
- Execute duties safely and accurately, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Commit to continuous learning and development of core ESH competencies.
Requirements

- Hold a BA/BS (preferred) with at least one year of construction or industrial health and safety experience.
- Completed OSHA 30‑hour construction training and hold a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Understand and convey English safety commands, questions, and instructions.
Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $88,000 to $106,000 and is eligible for a target bonus.
