  • Research and provide budget data and information for several accounts for appropriate facilities.
  • Timely responses to requests for assistance.
  • Importing and review of A/R Journal Entries, Census, A/R Payer Review.
  • Gathering information from assigned departments to record the journal entries, generate and review the financial statements, and reconcile accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements including cost reports annually.
  • Provide daily support on financial and accounting matters to our clients to include.
  • Importing and review of A/P Batches, Census, A/P Payer Review
  • Responsible for the completion of accounting records, monthly close, and financial statements for assigned business groups in accordance with Generally
  • Provide departmental assistance with questions relating to general ledger, AP, PR, and A/R.
  • Support the annual audit process including preparation of audit work papers.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and communicate effectively. Ability to effectively delegate, manage and influence other employees and outside contacts, particularly in relation to housing & development accounting team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and health-care specific accounting practices. Previous experience in health care accounting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Capable of developing communications, trainings, and presentations. Able to present or train individuals or large groups in a variety of methods.
  • Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”).
  • Experience and proficiency with cloud-based ERP systems such as NetSuite, ability to adapt to evolving financial systems and technologies, highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills.
  • 4+ years of professional experience, at least three (3) of which should include general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sound and accurate judgment with an ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; and ensure timely decisions are made.
  • Public accounting/audit experience preferred.
  • Accurate interpretation of financial information.
