Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and communicate effectively. Ability to effectively delegate, manage and influence other employees and outside contacts, particularly in relation to housing & development accounting team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and health-care specific accounting practices. Previous experience in health care accounting.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Capable of developing communications, trainings, and presentations. Able to present or train individuals or large groups in a variety of methods.
Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”).
Experience and proficiency with cloud-based ERP systems such as NetSuite, ability to adapt to evolving financial systems and technologies, highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills.
4+ years of professional experience, at least three (3) of which should include general ledger and financial reporting.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Sound and accurate judgment with an ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; and ensure timely decisions are made.
