Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
Climb stairs/ladders, stand, balance, stoop, squat, reach, and lift/carry objects.
Select welding filler material, joint design and proper heat ranges as directed by Technical Work Documents.

Apprenticeship Diploma or additional vocational courses/technical school and/or military or civilian experience with welding operations in a repair department or shipyard or fabrication shop.
Ability to obtain Deep Submergence Systems & SUBSAFE qualifications.
