Performs supply chain and logistics functions including materials and service procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, category management, vendor selection, and distribution.
Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids.
