- Adhere to health and safety policies and promote a safe working environment at all times
- Install, configure, commission and maintain electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and video entry
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns promptly, providing effective on-site support
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, industry codes of practice, and company procedures
- Diagnose and repair faults in security systems, minimizing system downtime and maintaining client security
- Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance reports, and fault resolutions
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system operation and functionality
- Perform routine maintenance, reactive maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and security solutions through continuous learning
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery

- Has a comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of security system problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as changes to the Security detection systems systems
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a like for like or similar role.
