We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple small‑to‑medium projects or one large project. The role involves managing a team of project managers and assistant project managers, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key responsibilities include establishing project objectives and performance standards, supervising daily site administration, training staff in company philosophy and systems, negotiating and overseeing change orders, maintaining project logs, and acting as the primary liaison with clients, architects, and engineers. The Senior Project Manager also monitors construction activities with on‑site foremen, investigates issues, represents the company in meetings, prepares monthly costing reports, and manages contract financials such as progress billing and equipment rentals.
Successful candidates will have at least 10 years of experience managing electrical construction projects, a strong knowledge of electrical systems, and proven leadership and business acumen. A bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related engineering discipline is preferred, and a PE license is a plus. Additional requirements include safety protocol expertise, proficiency with Microsoft Office (and preferably Oracle or Accubid), excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel 10‑25 % of the time.
Whether you’re a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, Rosendin offers meaningful career growth with a true sense of ownership. As the largest employee‑owned electrical contractor in the United States, we employ over 8,000 people and have more than 100 years of experience delivering quality electrical and communications installations. Our competitive compensation, full benefits, and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) give every employee a stake in our continued success.
Our benefits package includes ESOP ownership, a 401(k) plan, an annual performance‑based bonus, 17 days of PTO plus 10 paid holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability coverage, pre‑tax flexible spending accounts, and a charitable‑giving match through the Rosendin Foundation.
