The role sits within JLL’s finance organization and is responsible for delivering accurate monthly property financial statements, overseeing client cash activities, preparing budgets and forecasts, and supporting year‑end audit activities. The incumbent collaborates with facility managers, client accountants, and senior finance leaders while driving process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.

• Review and submit accurate monthly property financial statements by established deadlines.
• Prepare workpapers and documentation for managerial and client accountant review.
• Record resolutions for issues identified during financial statement reviews.
• Manage cash flow for assigned client accounts.
• Calculate accruals and coordinate with Facility Managers to ensure proper booking.
• Respond to client requests and generate ad‑hoc reports.
• Perform variance analysis and develop financial forecasts.
• Assist in the budgeting process and review budgets from an accounting perspective.
• Review finance packages and submit ASC606 PSFT expense approvals.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly and follow up on outstanding checks and items.
• Handle complex client situations and address special requirements.
• Coordinate year‑end audit activities and prepare supporting schedules.
• Keep management informed of ongoing activities and status updates.
• Manage operational and supervisory ad‑hoc tasks while maintaining process hygiene.
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounts Leadership, Finance Directors, and Account Directors.
• Conduct detailed forecast analysis comparing budget, actual, and forecast figures for large real‑estate portfolios.
• Lead annual budget planning and day‑to‑day reporting/forecasting for assigned portfolios.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly reports to identify performance trends.
• Research budget corrections and implement necessary changes.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, including graphs, charts, and presentations.
• Develop efficient reporting strategies, incorporating automation while preserving data integrity.
• Maintain knowledge of Master Services Agreements and related amendments.
• Support and monitor client billing activities.
• Assist in calculating management and incentive fees.
• Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting, and communication systems.
• Create and distribute best‑practice documentation, process guides, and user support materials.
• Analyze performance data to forecast trends and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.

Requirements

A successful candidate will bring 7–10 years of operational or general‑ledger accounting experience, strong analytical abilities, and expertise in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent written and verbal communication, high proficiency in Excel and real‑estate software, and a proactive, solution‑focused attitude are essential.

• Possess 7–10 years of operational/general‑ledger accounting and finance experience, including P&L analysis, balance‑sheet oversight, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, logical thinking, and a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Exhibit exceptional oral and written communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Show professional leadership and interpersonal skills, with capacity to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Be highly proficient in Excel and real‑estate accounting software; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Hold a finance or FP&A background, preferably with a commerce degree.
