Responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the facilities is operating at peak efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The technician serves as a technical resource reporting to a program manager, interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO). They are expected to be heavily engaged in limited facility operations within the facility and to support operations in various capacities.

Daily walk-through of facility documenting parameters such as power availability, temperature and humidity, alarm status, etc. to be catalogued and compared for identification of discrepancies and trends.

Ability to use hand tools and test equipment to install, troubleshoot, and repair parts and equipment according to specifications and established safety guidelines, relying on MOPs, manufacturer’s literature, and industry best practices, and ensures activities are logged in CMMS.
Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent.
Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Ability to understand site-specific processes and procedures such as how to report an incident or outage, procedure execution, PM standards, Work Orders tracking system.
Ability to type and utilize common administrative and office software.
Must be able to perform repeated bending & lifting of up to 50lbs during certain procedures.
This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in facility maintenance
Utilizes safe working practices; can apply lockout/tagout, SDS, applies good housekeeping methods, etc.
The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
