Depot Manager

The Depot Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and profitably. They will work closely with the hire desk, drivers, workshop, and senior management team to deliver outstanding service to customers.

• Upholding a safe, compliant, and lean working environment.
• Leading, managing, and motivating a multi-disciplinary team.
• Monitoring depot performance through the P&L while maintaining service and quality standards.
• Supporting business development by working with sales colleagues to identify new opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
• Overseeing stock, fleet, and workshop activity to maximise availability.
• Collaborating with other depot managers and the wider leadership team.

An experienced operations leader is being sought to manage a busy depot within the construction equipment hire sector. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to run a depot, get the best out of a team, and deliver excellent customer service.

• Strong operational background with experience managing people, processes, and performance.
• A hands-on leader with the ability to develop teams.
• Proven track record in depot/branch management (tool, plant, access, construction supply, or logistics).
• Driving efficiency across hire desk, drivers, and yard/warehouse.

Salary: Up to £55,000, Bonus & Company Car
