Navigate manufacturing facility.
Ensures unit standards for quality and productivity.
Works a variable work schedule as assigned.
Confirms availability of necessary parts (i.e., depending on assignment: sensors, valves, switches, motors, economizer assembly parts, controllers, relays, contactors, fuses, filters, doors, roof panels, etc.)
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Builds relationships with team members.
Monitors work environments and uses hand tools.
Keeps and maintains up-to-date information on unit schedules and assembly/quality procedures.
Prints and verifies correctness of work order packets.
Stays updated on assembly procedures and equipment.
Climb ladders, stairs, etc.
Operate heavy equipment and tools.
Enforces warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
Move objects up to 25-50 pounds in all directions.
Schedules production time to meet targets.
Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
Trains team members on assembling and installing sub-assembly components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
Assess work accuracy and quality, including color detection.
Provides production backup support as needed.
Approves paperwork for sub-assemblies and end-of-line checks (blower assembly, condensers, wiring, copper, assembly and wiring of economizer, final wire, HXC, power exhaust assembly, pre-wire). For end of line, check all paperwork and ensure all areas have been signed off by all QTLs.
Performs minor repairs and adjustments as required.
Provides problem-solving assistance for production and employees.
Inspects blueprints and assembly drawings.
Checks proper assembly and installation of each unit and parts (i.e., depending on assignment: proper installment of EVAP coils/compressors proper assembly of bases/posts, filter racks, blowers, condensers, control board; all motors are proper voltage; all brazing procedures are followed; correct charging of unit and charging procedures are followed; etc.)
