  • Drive Financial Strength: Deliver quality efficiently and seek improvement.
  • Wire and install control panels and field instruments.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact with clients, GCs, and vendors.
  • Lead and assist in project installation, startup, and commissioning.
  • Drive Customer Success: Take ownership and go the extra mile.
  • Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
  • Follow Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS) and project standards.
  • Conduct and document Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
  • Real-world impact: Build and maintain the automation systems powering data centers that serve billions of users.
  • Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, and network issues.
  • Document all work clearly and consistently.
  • Debug HMI/PLC programs and support field performance.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Surface issues early, propose solutions, and coordinate scope changes.

  • Experience: 2–5+ years in control-system installation/start-up, with 2+ years leading technicians.
  • Education: A.A.S. in Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent experience.
  • Soft Skills: Clear communicator, proactive problem solver, and team-oriented leader.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license, U.S. work authorization, and fit-for-duty certification.
  • Certifications: ISA, AVEVA, or Ignition (or willingness to earn).
  • Up to 20% travel; overtime may be required based on project needs.
  • Core Skills: PLC & HMI troubleshooting, low-voltage wiring, instrumentation, and basic networking.
