- Drive Financial Strength: Deliver quality efficiently and seek improvement.
- Wire and install control panels and field instruments.
- Serve as a professional point of contact with clients, GCs, and vendors.
- Lead and assist in project installation, startup, and commissioning.
- Drive Customer Success: Take ownership and go the extra mile.
- Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
- Follow Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS) and project standards.
- Conduct and document Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
- Real-world impact: Build and maintain the automation systems powering data centers that serve billions of users.
- Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, and network issues.
- Document all work clearly and consistently.
- Debug HMI/PLC programs and support field performance.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Surface issues early, propose solutions, and coordinate scope changes.

- Experience: 2–5+ years in control-system installation/start-up, with 2+ years leading technicians.
- Education: A.A.S. in Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent experience.
- Soft Skills: Clear communicator, proactive problem solver, and team-oriented leader.
- Other: Valid driver’s license, U.S. work authorization, and fit-for-duty certification.
- Certifications: ISA, AVEVA, or Ignition (or willingness to earn).
- Up to 20% travel; overtime may be required based on project needs.
- Core Skills: PLC & HMI troubleshooting, low-voltage wiring, instrumentation, and basic networking.
