The Maintenance Division Supervisor directly oversees the assignment and coordination of maintenance activities to ensure a productive workforce aligned with divisional, corporate, and Clean Energy Center (CEC) goals while complying with all policies and regulations. The role partners with department schedulers and planners, recommends training and procedural changes, and serves as a member of the Emergency Plan team.
Supervision includes ensuring craft personnel perform maintenance safely and effectively, meeting NRC regulations and CEC schedules, and that staff are properly trained, qualified, and prepared for emergency plan duties. The supervisor administers coaching, mentoring, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while communicating significant CEC and personnel issues to management and fostering collaboration with internal and external organizations such as INPO and regulatory agencies.
The position involves active participation in work‑control, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages to guarantee that work is properly planned and ready. It also oversees maintenance processes—including training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and corrective action programs—identifies improvement opportunities, manages vendor inspections and equipment repairs, and ensures effective procurement of materials, parts, tools, and equipment.
Additional responsibilities include supporting safe and efficient CEC operations through department management, monitoring business goals, and performing duties such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support outside the department as directed by management.
Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED with six years of related experience, an associate’s degree in a technical discipline with four years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with two years of experience, plus required access and medical clearances for the position.
Preferred qualifications include the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs, fluency with electronic work‑management systems and Microsoft Office, and a minimum of three years of nuclear power plant operations experience.
