As a Wind Site Technician you will ensure smooth operation of wind turbines by handling maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues. We seek candidates with at least six months of a Wind Technician certificate, one year of wind turbine experience, or two years in mechanical or electrical fields. Strong problem‑solving abilities, a safety‑first mindset, teamwork orientation, physical fitness for working at heights and in varied conditions, and the ability to communicate in English are essential. A high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and U.S. work authorization are required.
The role requires prolonged standing, walking, climbing ladders up to 100 m, lifting up to 50 lb, and the ability to perform tasks in confined spaces. Employees must meet hearing, visual, and hand‑eye coordination standards and must obtain certifications such as LOTO, Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest, High‑Angle Rescue, and Confined Space.

The base hourly pay ranges from $27.43 to $33.43, with performance bonuses and opportunities for pay‑for‑certification growth. Compensation is determined by experience and qualifications, and qualified candidates at Rush Creek may receive a one‑time sign‑on bonus of up to $2,500 USD.
