Key responsibilities include testing electrical systems with appropriate tools to identify issues, documenting actions and results, and troubleshooting using testing devices, blueprints, and maps. The foreman must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company guidelines and OSHA requirements, use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts for work in commercial properties, and keep tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition and well organized.
We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced General Foreman to supervise crews on complex construction projects. The General Foreman will be responsible for safety, scheduling, assignment and supervision of manpower, work performance, material procurement and planning, quality control, communication with the project team, and onsite customer relations.
The ideal candidate must have experience running electrical projects valued up to $10 million and be able to strategically plan work, schedule manpower, and order material and equipment ahead of installations while managing tools. They should be proficient in reading drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing, possess strong communication and leadership skills, stay current with technology, Loenbro business systems, electrical codes, and safety practices, and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Qualifications require 10+ years in the electrical trade, the ability to develop and manage construction schedules for large‑scale projects, and experience directing installations and troubleshooting. The candidate must effectively coordinate manpower and resource needs, place material orders after price comparisons, and maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards.
