Support pre-sales to post-sales activities by preparing solution proposals, conducting technical clarifications, and ensuring successful solution deployment for major projects.
Deliver Level 3 technical and application support, providing advanced troubleshooting, on-site diagnostics, and specialized recommendations to resolve complex customer issues.
This role focuses on understanding customer applications in targeted segments, identifying pain points, and translating market and field insights into clear product requirements and solution concepts.
Apply strong business acumen and deep product application knowledge to recommend fit-for-purpose low voltage solutions that address customer requirements and strengthen CHINT’s value proposition.
Work closely with key customers and the commercial team to build long-term relationships, identify unmet needs, and translate customer pain points into clear product or solution opportunities.
In addition to front-end engagement, the R&D Engineer manages and executes local R&D projects to deliver end-to-end technical solutions that support business growth and meet regional needs.
The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, and HQ R&D teams to drive product innovation, evaluate new technologies, and ensure that locally developed solutions align with CHINT’s global standards and strategic direction.
Partner with Segment Development Team, Country Sales Teams, and Partners to drive business growth by providing expert technical and application insights that support strategic account penetration across the APAC region.
The Low Voltage R&D Engineer is responsible for leading front-end research and development activities within the APAC region.
Represent the APAC R&D team in commercial and marketing events, delivering technical presentations, seminars, and demonstrations that highlight CHINT’s technology strengths and solution capabilities.
Conduct field studies to observe market trends, monitor competitive offerings, and gather actionable insights that guide product development strategies and local R&D project decisions.
Lead or participate in regional R&D and solution development projects to deliver end-to-end customer-oriented solutions tailored for the APAC market.
Conduct technical training for distributors, endusers, and internal teams to enhance product knowledge and promote correct application of CHINT solutions.
Collaborate with HQ R&D by providing systematic feedback, detailed technical assessments, and comprehensive failure analysis to support continuous product improvement.

Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus and will be beneficial for communication with the HQ R&D team.
At least 3 years of hands-on technical experience in product application, technical sales, service, or product marketing support.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in motor starters - VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), Soft-Starter, Star-Delta starters, etc
Willingness and ability to travel within APAC region.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
