- Prepare construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, grading plans, street improvements, utilities, and specifications.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions with guidance.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct basic stormwater calculations and reporting.
- Plot and assemble civil engineering plans and reports.
- Provide engineering and technical support to other departments.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0–2+ years experience in site/civil land development or related fields.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Knowledge of local city, county and state land‑use regulations.
- Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, and grading design.
- Demonstrated AutoCAD Civil 3D skills from concept through completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Fluent in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Benefits
The annual compensation for this position ranges from $71,820 to $85,260, depending on qualifications.
