- Offering an interview to disabled people who meet the minimum criteria for the job
- Support virtualisation platforms (KVM, QEMU, hypervisors) and their interaction with networking layers.
- Design and maintain network segregation, VLANs, routing, and multicast configurations for constrained military environments.
- Supporting any existing employee who acquires a disability or long term health condition, enabling them to stay in work at least one activity that will make a difference for disabled people
- Architect and manage secure network infrastructures supporting containerised and virtualised workloads.
- Communicating and promoting vacancies
- Ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible
- Configure and optimise Linux systems for high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Lead on the integration of Kubernetes, Docker/Podman deployments into air-gapped defence networks.
- Collaborate closely with software and algorithm engineers to ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Anticipating and providing reasonable adjustments as required
- Network performance monitoring and optimisation within virtualised or containerised systems.

- Experience with firewalling, ACLs, and encryption technologies.
- Expert Linux networking and system internals knowledge.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, VLANs, routing, and network name spaces.
- Exposure to naval/sonar mission systems or similar real-time data environments.
- Proven experience integrating containerised workloads into secure, distributed environments.
- Familiarity with defence-grade or air-gapped systems and corresponding security practices.
