Actively participate/lead in Engineering meetings/Design Reviews with internal and external clients and vendors
Participate in tests, pilots, trials and qualification scopes of new products or equipment to assess suitability
Upload information to Engineering databases and proficient in the use of technical software packages
Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required
Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with supervisor/manager on any issues or concern
Review/Approve of non-conformances/deviations for fit for purpose
Actively monitor and assist with the evaluation of advancements in technology and methodology trends associated with new products
Manage engineering project interfaces to ensure design, delivery and agreed standard of work is done as per project/plan
Use technical expertise to help identify improvements/upgrades that can be made to equipment or operational, engineering & quality processes and procedures
Produce and may review load case diagrams and load case registers for input to finite element analysis activities
Manage Technical Requirements for Qualification Testing Program as required
Act as Engineering project focal point on both R&D and sustaining projects
Produce/Review/Approve (where applicable) relevant Engineering documentation in compliance with industry standards and Expro’s policies and procedures (design reviews, engineering reports, calculations, project specific scope of supply, P&ID’s, design specs, test procedures, etc.,)
Assist with the introduction and development of new products based on first-hand knowledge of product technology and industry needs
Create and review Engineering component and assembly drawings
Liaise with other departments and regional teams on work produced to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed and calculations/analysis is fit for purpose
Incorporate Engineering/Operational feedback and lessons learnt for continual improvement
Create and review concept designs through PCL sketches and 3D model files. Create and review new assembly configurations and product variants.
Produce and review calculations for design verification (applying engineering theory / ability to work from first principles and in compliance with internal procedures, client requirements and industry standards)
Provide mentorship for engineers and graduate engineers
Ensure that all operational and workshop events are properly recorded and reported and ensure that any investigation carried out, establish’ s the correct root cause/s and mitigating measure/s to prevent future happenings
Support operation teams and workshop during build, testing, qualification and operations of the equipment as required
