Build and maintain relationships with clients to develop new work and drive repeat business
Identify, prepare, submit, and track change proposals and change orders.
Drive and participate in the improvement of project processes
Provide coaching and development to team members to be a source of talent for Magna IV.
Prepare and review proposals for projects with the intent to obtain new and repeat client business
Plan resources effectively and work collaboratively with other regions to share resources
Oversee all aspects of the projects (from Quoting/Kick-off to Invoicing/Close-out)
Present new services to existing customers and enhance existing relationships
Preparation of status and progress reports.
Ensure completion of reports and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and completeness of work.
Follow up on leads and turn them into profitable opportunities
Maintain organized digital ecosystem for each project and ensure that all test records and job-related documentation is filed per company standards.
Build relationships and work collaboratively with Operational and Central Services teams (as a partnership) to assist in implementing and executing all Magna practices and processes
Maintain the CRM activities, opportunities and forecasting
Ensure safe work process is executed with each job and a culture of safety is fostered.
Ensure accurate and timely project invoicing.
Ensure proper, complete preparation and execution of scheduled work

Experience working with automation & control systems in the power and utilities market is an asset
Ability to travel nationally and internationally- approx. 10% overnight travel
Proficient knowledge of the principles behind the test equipment used and well-rounded understanding of power systems
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Work as a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills (able to work with minimal supervision)
Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, EE degree or PSE certification
Relevant experience in maintenance, repair, rebuild?and troubleshooting of transformers, protective relays and circuit breakers preferred
Career-minded individual with proven initiative, client focus and attention to detail
Possesses hands-on field experience in commissioning, testing or maintaining power delivery equipment; including breakers, switchgear, relays, and transformers preferred
Able to work flexible hours that might include weekends, evenings and holidays
5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Technologist / Field Technician / Power Systems Electrician preferred
Understand financial health of the project using company provided tools.
Experience in the Installation, commissioning and start-up of power equipment preferred
Must have a valid driver's license
NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) certification preferred
