The Maintenance Level 1 is responsible for daily maintenance needed to turn units, address work orders, and perform monthly preventative maintenance as directed by the Property Manager.
Supervision duties include training maintenance assistants, coordinating with the property manager to ensure timely vendor services, and verifying unit readiness for rent.
The role requires a working knowledge of all apartment maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, carpet cleaning, drywall, carpentry, glass repair, appliances, HVAC, grounds, and concrete/tile work.
The position involves continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in various conditions such as cramped, dusty, hot or cold environments. Schedule flexibility is needed, with nights, weekends, and on‑call availability, and the employee must comply with uniform and hygiene policies.
