Own the leasing process from introduction to move-in. This includes greeting guests, identifying their housing needs, touring the property, showing apartments, explaining lease criteria, determining eligibility based on established criteria, following-up with prospects, closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great “move-in experience”
Assist with service requests, package collection, and property cleanliness
Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of resident functions
Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the property, other Mills properties and local competitors
Inspect units for market readiness prior to showing and move-in; resolve issues with appropriate parties
Maintain positive communications with residents and provide excellent service through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Compelling communicator with strong negotiating, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other’s ideas, giving due appreciation, and bringing out the best in others
NALP certification preferred but not required
Demonstrate strong attention to detail when preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval security deposits, rent payments and other bookkeeping tasks
Minimum of two years’ experience in sales and/or customer service experience preferred
Valid driver’s license
