The PRN Housekeeper position at the Sky Ridge community works on an on‑call basis, Tuesday through Saturday, providing cleaning services for resident apartments, public spaces, and work areas while upholding the community’s cleanliness standards.
The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, proper use of cleaning chemicals, waste disposal, and collaboration with other departments to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, and guests.
The position involves physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting cleaning supplies over 40 lb, using standard equipment, and following PPE guidelines.

- Execute signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
- Clean resident apartments, common areas, and offices, including floors, fixtures, bathrooms, windows, carpets, and walls
- Post and remove safety/caution signs to prevent slips and falls
- Report health, safety, or sanitation concerns immediately
- Follow cleaning schedules and maintain ongoing waste removal throughout shift
- Keep work areas tidy, store equipment after use, and secure housekeeping supplies and carts
- Use appropriate PPE and follow safe chemical handling and disposal procedures
- Encourage teamwork and open communication with colleagues and other departments
- Use standard cleaning equipment; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning supplies weighing 40 lb or more; perform repetitive motions safely
