The Account Manager will own a geographic territory, executing the full sales strategy—from market analysis and forecasting to pipeline management, contract negotiation, and customer retention. The role focuses on expanding the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals, and educating them on how EquipmentShare’s equipment rentals and jobsite solutions can save money and improve efficiency.
- Manage territory sales strategy including market analysis, forecasting, pipeline, contracts, and retention.
- Respond quickly to inbound leads and manage CRM records.
- Develop new business by acquiring contractors and construction principals and educating them on EquipmentShare solutions.
- Nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction and promote additional services.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and deliver sales presentations.
- Create and implement sales strategies to increase market share and improve customer experience.

- Tenacious, innovative with proven outside sales track record.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb unaided.
- Experience or knowledge of heavy construction equipment and B2B sales (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Technical aptitude to learn EquipmentShare products quickly.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.

Compensation includes a base salary and uncapped commission, with total earnings ranging from $70,000 to $400,000+ and additional perks such as a commission guarantee period while building a book of business.
